Kara Duval is a certified Level 2 (advanced) STOTT PILATES™ instructor in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels and has extensive teaching experience in Total Barre™, Cardio Core™ and Kick It by Eliza™ classes. She has also completed training in the Titleist Performance Institute and is a TPI Certified Expert.
Her formal certification training in STOTT PILATES™ took place at the corporate studio in Toronto (Merrithew Health and Fitness) and she has developed her skills at leading studios in Boston, Dallas and Fort Worth. Kara currently teaches in Boston at C2 Body, North End Yoga, Equinox, EveryBodyFights by George Foreman III and FLX Wellness at Millennium Tower.
Kara’s interest in Pilates developed from many years of classical ballet training and performance and the demands it placed on the body. She’s a product of more than 15 years of intensive training with Boston Ballet School, Jose Mateo Dance Company, San Francisco Ballet School, School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and The School for Classical and Contemporary Dance at Texas Christian University, where she earned her BFA in Classical Ballet, with honors.
